The Next Day is a magic realism documentary told in graphic novel form, constructed from interviews with survivors of near fatal suicide attempts. In this philosophical exploration participants from diverse backgrounds, now removed from their attempts, each answer the same key questions about life, the decision to end it, and what comes after.
